SUMMARY
To work with and understand UnderWing’s feedback regarding the users frustrations regarding the cancelation process.
PROBLEM TO SOLVE

UnderWing is a platform that connects gig work platforms to Insurance carriers.

If the gig worker chose to stop their coverage, they needed to email or call with an explanation as to why they needed to cancel and then wait for confirmation. After it is manually cancelled on by the insurance company and would take up to a week to confirm cancellation.

UnderWing understood that was a pain point that needed to be remedied.

THE PROPOSAL

Initially there was only the option to sign up.

The proposed idea was to create a login for the existing site. Why? So they could take charge of their own admin.

Below are the designs that was discussed with the Underwing team.

Benefits of being able to Login

Allows customers to view their account, edit family members, access payment information and if necessary, cancel their membership/subscription.

TURN KEY SOLUTION
After some consideration there was another direction Underwing chose.

The original company Underwing used for their payment process was not working out, so Jauntin'/Underwing decided to switch over to another payment company who had a cancelation process in place.
